Post interview with the “Best Boxer” today
Before you start to get pist about this blog let me start by saying this…Floyd Mayweather 41-0 “The Best in Boxing” gave a sucker punch knockout. Now you might say it was a Cheapshot Headbutt from Victor Ortiz, but let me say this…How many times have you seen a headbutt in boxing? Both boxers are in there wrong but that “you must protect yourself at all times” speech by Mayweather also was followed up by him telling Larry Merchant “You dont know shit about boxing!” Thanks champ, you really did show why you are the best.
Now why Floyd just Saved boxing.
He single handedly just brought back all that attention Dana White’s UFC has been getting (thank you wife for pointing that out) Yeah, we still watch boxing knowing that Mayweather and Pacquiao is STILL the biggest fight boxing has to offer that has not happen yet. With that being said we are all waiting to see what happens next with the two. I mean, is Manny gonna go through with the olympic style testing that Moneymay has been asking for? Will Moneymay answer the questions about Pac Man Finally? And will you as a fight fan watch the next Ortiz/Mayweather fight? The Answer is…YES! WHY? Because you want to see how things will shake up IF either Pacquiao or Mayweather lose. And with up and coming fighters like Ortiz and Saul Alvarez still out here putting on great shows you will tune in.
You must understand, when you fight Floyd Mayweather you are fighting a guy that feels he has EVERYTHING to lose. A man that will do anything and EVERYTHING in the ring to WIN from asking you to test olympic style, to having his corner go crazy in the ring (Zab Judah Fight) and you will watch it even more so NOW more then ever because of all the fights that STILL have yet to happen that will make you keep saying “We still wanna see Mayweather vs Pacquiao”
With all that being said, I think that this Victor Ortiz vs Mayweather Fight was one of the WORST endings ive seen in a long time. BUT, Mayweather has really just became boxings all time favorite Villain in boxing history.
